Open Toe Foot is ideal for satin, applique, taper and decorative stitches. The tunnel on the underside of the foot feeds smoothly over the stitches and the open front gives greater visibility for accuracy.
Whether mastering a technique such as Madeira appliqué or satin stitch appliqué, the open toe foot is the accessory for the job.
Similar in appearance to the satin stitch foot, the open center area provides for a clear view of stitching at all times and is ideal for decorative techniques such as embroidery, appliqué, monogramming and cut work.
There is a wide channel on the underside of the foot. This channel is designed for gliding over the dense formation of a decorative stitch.
